A walk, following the path of destruction as German Zeppelin L13 blasted and burned it’s away across the City London on the night of 8th September 1915. This was the first effective air raid on the City, and on this walk, led by Blue Badge Guide Mike Armitage, we will examine how Londoners dealt with this new form of warfare, as well as visiting some other legacies of the First World War.
This walk is about 1.5 miles long, using paved footpaths. There are one or two sets of stairs. It will finish near Liverpool Street Station.
