There is no better way to appreciate the issues behind the Great War or to learn how the war impacted directly on your local area. You’re sure to pick up a few interesting, historic gems about your own neighbourhood that you didn’t know. This programme of activities is growing all the time, with contributions from Institute-qualified guides leading local walks and coach tours, or giving talks in many parts of Britain.
